Shepherd's Cove provides emergency housing assistance and shelter services to homeless women in crisis. The shelter is staffed 24 hours with confident and caring staff that is responsible for the day-to-day  operation and supervision of shelter programs, residents, and facility.  New residents are seen upon arrival and assigned a case manager who will assist in crisis intervention, adjusting to shelter and communal living, while providing referrals to address social service issues, housing,  employment and education.

HOPE, Inc. works with the Prince Georges County Social Services Foster Care Agency to provide a Transitional Home Program.  This provides a 6 months to 1 year housing program for foster care placement clients. Our clients are provided structure to help them become independent and self-supporting. They are put in an environment in which HOPE, Inc.'s volunteers can have an opportunity to teach, direct and provide motivation.  All of this helps provide a stable foundation from which our clients may enter society as productive citizens, able to handle the responsibility of the community and life.
